Located in NSW's beautiful Kosciuszko National Park, Selwyn Snowfields is the perfect place to learn to ski or snowboard with its gently progressing terrain & caring mountain staff. Regardless of your age, ability, or fitness level we have a program designed to suit the whole family - anyone can do it! Other activities at Selwyn Snowfields include snow tubing and tobogganing, or simply bring a picnic and enjoy playing in the snow with your family in a beautiful mountain environment.
A variety of great value, family friendly accommodation is available in the townships of Adaminaby or Talbingo, just a 30 to 40 minute drive from the slopes.

SNOW SPORTS SCHOOL

Selwyn Snowfields offer a variety of programs for all ages and abilities. Taking a lesson with one of our qualified instructors will help you make the most of your skiing or snowboarding experience - they are also a lot of fun! The most popular Snow Sport products are our Lift & Lesson Packages which conveniently package a lift ticket with a 1.5 hour group lesson each day. These packages are great value and are available for adults and children from the age of 7 up. For children aged between 18 months and 6 years, there's Selwyn Snow World where kids have a ball learning to ski in a dedicated children's learning area serviced by 'Gentle Annie', our moving carpet lift. There's lots of fun and educational games to play as well!Other programs available include private lessons for one on one tuition, an exclusive program just for women, terrain park riding lessons, and more intensive, club style lessons for children under 16.

GEAR RENTAL AND RETAIL

Enjoy the convenience of hiring your clothing and equipment at Selwyn Snowfields from the Ski & Clothing Hire Centre located adjacent to the main carpark. Purchase your lift tickets and book your Snow Sport School lessons at the same time so you can get on the slopes quicker! New for 2009 are the Ski / Snowboard Packs that include ski or board equipment with clothing hire at a discounted rate.

GETTING TO THE RESORT

Selwyn Snowfields is located 7kms off the Snowy Mountains Highway at Kiandra, an easy 2.5 hour drive from Canberra, 5.5 hour drive from Sydney and 6.5 hour drive from Melbourne. It is recommended that all 2WD vehicles carry properly fitting chains at all times on the Snowy Mountains Highway. These can be hired at most service stations on your way to Selwyn Snowfields. All vehicles are required to pay the Kosciuszko National Park entry fee of $27.
