PASSES AND LIFT TICKETS

You don’t want to be trudging up the mountain, so make sure you buy your lift tickets in advance. These can be included in resort packages and are usually a better deal when you purchase them that way. You can buy day passes, family passes and week-long passes. Consider how many days you’ll want to be on the mountain and book ahead for your entire stay, buying individual tickets daily will end up costing you more. This year you can visit both Thredbo and Perisher on the new SuperSki pass, the five-day ticket is available from June 25 to September 4. The Super Pass allows avid powder hounds to ski at Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Perisher all season. There are also passes for just Mt Hotham and Falls Creek. So take a look at the resort websites to find a pass that suits you best.
